Signal Arts Centre presents Scaffart by the artist Eimear Nic Cába.

Eimear says, 'I have a passion for Dublin City and especially for construction sites. It is fascinating and wonderful. In my paintings, I am trying to render the deep impressions I feel when I travel in the city. The art works aim should be to make people travel to other places, getting away for a while, it should be a promise of new surroundings'.

Eimear calls her art Scaffart, which she has constructed from scaffold, art and a sense of humour. She uses scaffold netting on stretchers as the canvas for some of her paintings.

Eimear has been developing her craft since 1997 and has studied Art & Design in both NCAD and North Strand Technical College. She has studied sculpture in the Firestation Artist Studios and print in Airfield Studios.
