Augustine is a graduate of NCAD and her current work reflects her interests in the culture and history of Bray.

Her work has been exhibited in a wide variety of contexts nationally and internationally from cattle marts to government buildings, supermarkets, galleries, fast food outlets and museums.

Her work practice is concerned with ideas relating to social and political ideas often connecting local and global issues through the work process. She is currently working on researching ideas that relate to different forms of community and workers organisation with alternative power structures and the role culture plays within this. Her work is quite varied as she has worked in film, video performance, sound, text photography; installation based work as well as using the media newspapers and radio to access audiences.
