'East Coast - Bray to Balbriggan'

An Exhibition by Marie Fallon

From Tuesday 27th November to Saturday 8th December 2001

Popular Dublin scene painter, Marie Fallon, will be exhibiting new works at Signal Arts Centre from Tuesday 27th November to Saturday 8th December.

Marie has been painting for twenty years. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions. Her first solo exhibition - 'Malahide - An Artist's Perspective', held at the Malahide Tennis Club in 1999, was very successful. Her work is sold through The Daffodil Gallery, Skerries.

Marie, who lives in Malahide, says, 'I love harbours. The sea gives me ample material for my work. I am fascinated by the effect of light and shade on my subjects - and of aging, of rust etc. on trawlers.'

Marie works in oil on canvas. She decribes her work as 'Contemporary realism... vibrant and colourful, representing extremes of light and shade.' Her beach scenes of children are particularly charming.

Opening Reception: Friday 30th November 7-9pm
